Psychological and Evaluation Services
Psychological Evaluation: We can evaluate adults and children for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual and Learning Disability, AD/HD, and Emotional Disturbance. Our assessments can take up to 8 hours, typically divided into 2 sessions. The sessions can be performed on the same day or different days, but we try to have them within a week of each other. All our psychological assessments include a one hour follow up review with the psychologist to discuss findings and recommendations for treatment and support.
Why have a psychological performed? There are many benefits for having a psychological performed. Some examples include clear identification of problems and contributing factors, development of effective treatment plans, identification of possible treatments and helpful resources, reports that can be used to advocate for services for academic purposes, court purposes, and so forth, to have an understanding of underlying issues and the “why” question, help caretakers understand their child, how they can help, and why.
