What are your rates?

  • Master Level Therapist

    • $150 per 53 minute session

    • $75 per 30 minute session

    • $225 per 90 minute session

  • Fully Licensed Psychologist (excluding psychological assessment)

    • $250 per 53 minute session

    • $125 per 30 minute session

    • $375 per 90 minute session

  • Provisionally Licensed Psychologist (excluding psychological assessment)

    • $200 per 53 minute session

    • $100 per 30 minute session

    • $300 per 90 minute session

Rates for Diagnostic and Psychological Evaluation

  • Psychological Evaluations including Autism Assessment, Learning and Intellectual Disabilities such as AD/HD, IQ and General Psychological Testing. Psychological Testing can take as long as 8 hours and is typically scheduled into two four-hour segments. Once completed the psychologist will spend an hour with you reviewing the results, answering questions, discussing recommendations for help, and making sure that you understand the report. The report will then be provided to you to take your school, employer, or for any other need you have.

  • Diagnostic Evaluation. A diagnostic is not a psychological, but rather a status assessment using a specific diagnostic tool to identify diagnosis, presenting problem, and recommendations for treatment. A report is then generated by the clinician that can be provided to you. These assessments are conducted by a master level therapist and generally last 2 hours plus a 30 minute interpretation session used to explain the findings and recommendations.

We are Insurance Friendly!

We work with your insurance to use your out of network benefits. We will process the claim for you and the payments are sent directly to you. Many clients have 50% to 90% of the session covered.

I have Out of Network Benefits, Now What?

Great! We make it easy for you. You come to session, pay the fee. We file the claim on your behalf. Within six weeks or less you begin to receive your reimbursements directly from the insurance company. We do not receive the payment from the insurance company, it comes directly to you. That’s it! You don’t have to argue with your insurance company or do anything else. Reimbursement rates range from 50% to 90% of the session rate.

We Accept Care Credit!

We accept Care Credit! Care Credit is a great way to reduce the monthly cost of therapy. It can also be used for our psychological evaluations! To see if you qualify click here.

How often will I have sessions?

This is determined by your therapist, your diagnosis, and the severity of your symptoms. Therapy length and frequency varies per person depending on their needs. This will be discussed and agreed to by you and your therapist. However, when starting therapy it is usually recommended to meet at least one time weekly until symptoms improve. Some choose to meet more frequently which could result in achieving results more quickly.

For individuals, we suggest planning for therapy to last at a minimum of 3 months, which equates to 12 sessions of weekly counseling. This does not include assessment.

For couples, we suggest planning for therapy to last at a minimum of 6 months, which equates to 24 sessions of weekly counseling. This does not include assessment.

What if I have to reschedule my session?

We ask that you cancel or reschedule your session greater than 24 hours. This can be done by emailing pcs_counseling_admin@get-mental-health.com or by phone at (806) 891-8995. For sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours we charge 50% of the full session rate to the card on file. The only exceptions to this are medical emergencies.
