Many people are apprehensive and fearful of taking the first step to start therapy. They may struggle with being vulnerable with a stranger. They do not want to talk about issues that bring back emotions and memories that they don’t want to keep experiencing.
Every person has a different story they bring to therapy. I utilize an individualistic approach to better help my clients feel that their uniqueness is not a detriment, but a beneficial aspect of their therapy progress. I work with my clients as a team and motivate them to know they are in charge of what they are needing throughout the therapeutic process.
I am invested in helping my clients feel heard and understood. I strive to help my
clients not feel alone with their problems. I aim to be a counselor that can support my clients through whatever life has thrown at them. I am always looking for more ways to be able to help my clients in the best way possible.
